At the end of April, NSM's FCCLA helped raise money for the American Cancer Society by participating in Relay for Life. We had a great time. Our group was the last to leave and we received the golden pillowcase award (2nd year) and they also gave us a Relay for Life basketball for our spirit. One of the students had her hair cut for Locks for Love (girl on front rowl far right). This year's theme was cartoons...Our team was the justice league. I was wonderwoman...in case you were wondering. Below is a couple of pictures of our team.
This is my friend Mandy and her son John Thomas. Their church participated in Relay also. They sold deep fried oreos!!! I didn't try one, but I heard they were pretty good!
