Mrs. Keller...Mrs. Keller...can I???

Well I guess I'll be hearing alot of this starting in February. Why you ask?? Well I was offered the job as Family and Consumer Science (or "Home Ec" as we used to call it) teacher at North Sand Mountain school. I'm very excited to get this opportunity. I'll get to do all the fun stuff that I don't have time to do, like cooking and sewing or at least talk about it and have the students do it. I think it will be alot of fun...plus, better benefits all around for our family. I still have a little bit of a drive but shorter than what I do now. It will just give me time to drink my coffee and eat breakfast! My last day at the dialysis unit will be at the end of January and I will start at NSM on February 2nd. I sure will miss my friends at Davita and all my patients, but I feel this is an answered prayer for us. Wish me luck and I'm sure I'll need alot of prayers...I'll be teaching high school you know!

P.S. Everyone's Christmas cards are on the way. I seem to have the hardest time getting to the post office to get stamps!!

Let it snow, Let it snow, Let it snow

Did you have snow at your house this past Monday morning? We had approximately 1/2 to 1 inch by mid morning. It looked very pretty. Landon, Bomar and Macy seemed to be excited too!

More details on Landon's VUR...

I talked with the nurse at Dr. Hicks office this week. She said Landon has grade IV reflux....which is high but better than grade V. She said it is much more difficult and takes longer to grow out of it at this stage. We don't see him again until February unless something comes up. So we will just pray that Landon is a "quick grower" out of it!!
