Now, only a month behind on posting! I have to download the pictures from my camera to continue. Hopefully, I will stay fairly caught up because "SCHOOOOOOLS OUT FOR SUMMER"! However, I am taking 2 classes online so I can't promise anything. I do have several plans for Landon and I...like the zoo and picnics at the park. Plus I need to do some deep cleaning and organizing around the house. We'll see what gets done!?!

American Cancer Society Relay for Life

At the end of April, NSM's FCCLA helped raise money for the American Cancer Society by participating in Relay for Life. We had a great time. Our group was the last to leave and we received the golden pillowcase award (2nd year) and they also gave us a Relay for Life basketball for our spirit. One of the students had her hair cut for Locks for Love (girl on front rowl far right). This year's theme was cartoons...Our team was the justice league. I was wonderwoman...in case you were wondering. Below is a couple of pictures of our team.This is my friend Mandy and her son John Thomas. Their church participated in Relay also. They sold deep fried oreos!!! I didn't try one, but I heard they were pretty good!

PRAYER REQUEST

Please pray for Adam and Aimee Freeman and their family. Their 10 month old daughter, Kaleigh, passed away this week. Kaleigh was born 3 months early and weighed 1 pound 1 ounce. They are from Charlotte, NC. You can click the button below to read Kaleigh's story.

Maggie's Easter Party

Maggie turned 2 on April 11. She had an Easter party and all the kids got to hunt eggs. Below are some pictures of the birthday festivities.

Silly Landon came up with this idea all by himself! I guess he was trying to entertain himself during the 2-1/2 hour drive to the party.

Max and Carter attended the party but they managed to escape my camera. I'm sure I will catch some shots of them later.

Isn't it typical for a little boy to put on his Daddy's shoes...but isn't he cuter than the typical boy?? Mommy sure thinks so!!
