Pray for Stellan and his family

Please say a prayer for Stellan and his family. Stellan has had heart problems on/off since in the womb. His SVT(extremely high heart rate) has been controlled pretty good for a while until recently. He is currently in the PICU awaiting a change in treatment. It's all been experimental because his situation has been anything but typical since it's start.

I remember back last November when Landon was sick for approx 2 weeks, in the hospital, did not know what was going on for a while. I'm sure what I felt was only a tiny bit of what this mother is going through. You can keep up with Stellan by clicking the button in the left margain.

New Found Love

I have heard of Picasa before but put it in the back of my mind...didn't really have time to find something else to mess with. However, I attended a summer workshop today on using technology in education. One thing we discussed is Picasa. IT IS AWESOME!! It is my new found love...picture wise that is! Still LOVING photoshop, but this runs right along with it. Below is a picture collage I made in picasa...you click a few buttons and there you have it.

ALL CLEAR!!

I called the Dr's office today and they said his culture is not growing, so THANKFULLY no problems!! He had been taking his medicine very well without throwing up since they changed it.

He's definately been wound up lately. Just stop by our house around 6PM and you will see a show!! You would think I have been feeding him sweets all day long, but he don't eat much of that stuff or much of anything for that matter! He gets really WILD in the afternoons....I guess it's just being TWO!

Stinking Catheter!!

The nurse from Dr. Hicks office called this afternoon and said the urine culture from his appointment a week ago came back positive. I have to take him back in tomorrow to do another one...except this time they want to cath him to make sure they get a clean sample. They are thinking the other one was contaminated...the bag was not on good; it didn't catch all the urine and they only had a little sample. I know it's important to get a clean sample but I hate the way they have to do it. Just say a little prayer for Landon...hoping the test comes back ok and not getting too upset during the office visit. And also for his Mommy...not getting too upset during the office visit.
