Maggie's Easter Party

Maggie turned 2 on April 11. She had an Easter party and all the kids got to hunt eggs. Below are some pictures of the birthday festivities.

Silly Landon came up with this idea all by himself! I guess he was trying to entertain himself during the 2-1/2 hour drive to the party.

Maggie loves to swing!

Lilah enjoys the swing also!

Max and Carter attended the party but they managed to escape my camera. I'm sure I will catch some shots of them later.

Typical

Isn't it typical for a little boy to put on his Daddy's shoes...but isn't he cuter than the typical boy?? Mommy sure thinks so!!

Waaaay behind on posting!

Not so much time wise, but event wise. We've had so much going on here lately, it's been crazy! I'll catch up a few posts at a time.

Below are pictures from MICKEY MOUSE CLUBHOUSE LIVE. Landon went to see it back in March with 2 of his friends, Maggie and Layne...and of course Mommies went too! They had alot of fun! Landon was so good. He sit in his own seat half of the show.

Praying For Stellan

I have been following this blog for a while. I think I originally got to it from Deedra's blog. Even though I don't know this family, I know they must be going through a terribly difficult time.

Bambi???

Papa and Gran's neighbors have , of all things, a pet deer. I believe her name was Trixie?? She loves for special visitors to come and give her treats. As you can see below, Landon was tickled that he could get that close to a baby deer. Max and Landon enjoyed their visit with Bambi...I mean Trixie. We had to threaten Papa not to bring a rifle...just kidding!

Start training early!

It is important to start early when teaching certain concepts, such as...

...learning to mow the yard,

...table manners,

...learing to pass the time while using the potty,

and last but not least...how to clean up after himself!

It's Party Time!!

Landon's 2nd Birthday party was at the Rainsville Fire Station. All the kids loved it! Landon just went around saying "big", big". We are glad everyone got to come and celebrate Landon's birthday with us!

"Mommy" is proud of Landon's firetruck cake!

Most of the birthday party crew.

Here's a couple of scenes from the movie backdraft...starring Carter and Landon.

Layne is wondering why they have the door locked!

Landon passes out after a long day of partying! Reminds me of a time about 1year ago...after another birthday party.

DEJA VU...he refused to take a nap this day too!

Thanks to Deedra for her pictures...I didn't get many, plus she has some awesome ones!!

Sneak peek at Landon's party...

I have downloaded pictures from my camera, but haven't had time to create a post with pictures yet. I've been working on taxes and work stuff....YUCK! However, my sister Deedra has some very cute pictures on her blog, so click here to get a sneak peek.
