Say Cheese!

These pictures were from the "Pig Out". For those of you who don't know, this is actually an annual Thanksgiving/Christmas get together for my Mom's family, not just a day we decided to eat a whole lot...although that is usually part of it since Mom has 10 brothers and sisters, plus all their families...image the food!!
Anyway, I will post a variety of pictures from this event next but I thought these pictures were worthy of their own post.
Carter and Landon were having a good time. They were doing a awesome job of saying cheese...several times, and then would get cracked up! They also were providing some good entertainment by dancing to Christmas music. Check it out...

Relive the Christmas memories...

Here's some pictures from Kevin's Mom's family Christmas....

Christmas parade

Here's Landon watching the Rainsvile Christmas parade from a tractor at Pop's work a.k.a. the tractor store.

Baby Soft Hands

I know it's been a while since the last post...but hey it's been crazy with all the holidays and then trying to clean up after the holidays!! I promise to catch up and get back to more frequent posting. I have many pictures to post!!

Just wanted to give you a sneak peak at how Landon gets those baby soft hands...

...He gets Mommy's Bath & Body Works lotion, slathers half the bottle on his hands, and continues to rub it in until caught by Mommy or Daddy. Plus, this lotion is herbal scented for relaxation. So not only does he have soft hands but he is also very relaxed!

Mrs. Keller...Mrs. Keller...can I???

Well I guess I'll be hearing alot of this starting in February. Why you ask?? Well I was offered the job as Family and Consumer Science (or "Home Ec" as we used to call it) teacher at North Sand Mountain school. I'm very excited to get this opportunity. I'll get to do all the fun stuff that I don't have time to do, like cooking and sewing or at least talk about it and have the students do it. I think it will be alot of fun...plus, better benefits all around for our family. I still have a little bit of a drive but shorter than what I do now. It will just give me time to drink my coffee and eat breakfast! My last day at the dialysis unit will be at the end of January and I will start at NSM on February 2nd. I sure will miss my friends at Davita and all my patients, but I feel this is an answered prayer for us. Wish me luck and I'm sure I'll need alot of prayers...I'll be teaching high school you know!

P.S. Everyone's Christmas cards are on the way. I seem to have the hardest time getting to the post office to get stamps!!

Let it snow, Let it snow, Let it snow

Did you have snow at your house this past Monday morning? We had approximately 1/2 to 1 inch by mid morning. It looked very pretty. Landon, Bomar and Macy seemed to be excited too!

More details on Landon's VUR...

I talked with the nurse at Dr. Hicks office this week. She said Landon has grade IV reflux....which is high but better than grade V. She said it is much more difficult and takes longer to grow out of it at this stage. We don't see him again until February unless something comes up. So we will just pray that Landon is a "quick grower" out of it!!
